Indus university celebrated teachers day on 5th September identified in honor of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishnan the first Vice President of India, a great scholar and educator as well. We followed the Indian tradition to acknowledge the commendable dedication of the teachers towards their students.

We at Indus always believe in inheriting Indian tradition and celebrating it in real perspective. In changing environment of technology and philosophy student should not missed out to express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers. They have several ways to convey your heartfelt reverence for their teachers to express this, openness to given to them to celebrate teachers’ day.

On Sept 5th 2012 at Indus we witnessed the same warm feelings spread across the campus since the beginning of the day. During the post lunch hours all the academia including Lab assistants gathered in the Auditorium and the program commenced with Maa Saraswati’s blessings and an address from our honorable Pro VC & VC .

There were numerous creative activities and events planned by the students for the HoDs, faculties and lab Assistants.

A quiz was held which invited 2 participants from each branch, where 4 teams could make it to the final round. Collage making was done by all the lab assistants and our respected HOD’s were all brought in to play the memory game. We had one of our students and a faculty member perform a song.

A fun filled round of extempore charged the atmosphere where one faculty from each branch participated. Prizes were given to all the winners by Additional Director Prof Rajayaguru and vote of thanks also. To conclude, everyone had refreshments and wished each other on this joyous occasion.

We all look forward to many more celebrations and moments like these in the Indus family.
