Total 23 students of B.Tech.Sem-V (Civil Engg) with two Faculty members, Prof. Anurag Kandya and Prof. Jitendra Patel, attended a one-day seminar on ‘Temple Architecture’ organized by Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC), Government of Gujarat and International Stone Research Centre (ISRC) on 10^th October, 2014. Students got this opportunity through a special invitation from ISRC, and the Civil Engg Department sincerely acknowledges this gesture of ISRC. The students could participate and attend various sessions on History of Temple Architecture, Making and Science of Temple Architecture, Role of Craftsmen and Carvings in Temple Architecture and Restoration and Preservation of Temples. It proved to be great learning experience.
