Indus University was draped in myriad hues on the night of Saturday 5th October 2013 as Navratri celebration organized by the University was nothing less than a cultural extravaganza. The campus was decked up to welcome its student enthusiasts, who swirled with no care of the world, to feet-thumping, jig-inducing sway-with-abandon garba tunes. As performances showcased were a characteristic mix of traditional and fusion garba revelry, the huge turnout turned the campus into a big dance floor and lived it up from 7.30 PM onwards till midnight.

With Navratri festivity beginning on a weekend the university expected humongous footfall of 1800 students on campus who heralded in the night with a ‘maha aarti’ invoking the Goddess for blessings. Students and faculties alike slipped into the traditional eye-catching embellishments and swayed to the Dandiya tunes whilst indulging in delicious flavors of food items on display at the Food stalls installed by the canteen of the University.
