On the occasion of Teacher’s Day i-SAHA Indus Science & Humanities Association organized a literary event of Public Speaking for its First Year Engineering students on 5th September’14.

The theme for the event was ‘Teaching is Leading’. Total 10 students were shortlisted for the competition in which they delivered a speech on how one can change the world, make it a better place, bring in a social revolution & fight against the social evils by teaching others. The winners were Nishil Barot (First Prize, Mech A), Palak Jadwani (Second Prize, EC) & Devdutt Gadhavi (Third Prize, Civil D).

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by the participants who grabbed the opportunity to be on stage, some of them attempting for the first time to address a large crowd. The competition was judged by Dr.Sandip Trivedi from Civil Department, Prof. Ravindra Parulekar from MBA Department, & Dr. Manisha Dalbhide, President(i-SAHA) & HoD of Science & Humanities Department. The event was coordinated by Prof.Mamta Amin and Prof.Rutva Mecwan from the Department of Science & Humanities.
