Gujarat Technological University organized mega sports event SPIRIT 2012, this year among all its affiliated institutes in the Gujarat state. Keeping the Spirit alive Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering had hosted the event of Hand-Ball on 21^st September 2012 at the Indus campus. Engineering students from various institutes had participated in the competition. The players were divided into two groups.

The cheering and whistles among the audience boosted up the energy levels of the players on field. The literal meaning of two phrases-“TEAM WORK” & “NEVER DIE SPIRIT” were on display by the players representing Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering. Both the Boys Team and the Girls Team of Indus Institute won the competition.They executed mind boggling performance in the Handball game and managed a glorious win over other colleges and brought laurels to the university.
