CESA organizes INGEGNERIA: Celebration of Engineers’ Day

The department of Computer Engineering at Indus University celebrated the Engineers Day on 15^th September’15 with range of events titled INGEGNERIA. This tribute to Dr.Visvervaraya was witnessed by nearly 400 students. The Guest of Honor was Prof. J. D. Vyas, Principal (Training Centre) Electrotherm, and the Chief Guest was Dr. Binod Agrawal, Ex.Director MICA and an Advisor at ISRO, who enlightened students with their quintessential talk on this important day. The highlight of the day was a motivational speech by Dr. Sneh Desai, an expert on motivation and inspirational talks. In his commentary he highlighted certain challenges to be overcome by students at this age.

The competitions included Web Design, Smart Search, Thought Structure, Treasure Hunt, Sketch the Scientist, Logo Design and Latex Workshop. Alongside Indus Photography club put up an exhibition to display their art of photography. Different number of participation in each event resulted in a gala event on the Engineers’ Day. The winners were felicitated with prizes in the valedictory function including a finale skit on ‘Life Journey of An Engineer’ enacted by the third year computer engineering students for their brethren and a short documentary on the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Dr.Visvesvaraya.
